Preventive Maintenance

There are a number of indicators that indicate when to contact a plumber. You might need to replace or repair pipes if you observe any of the following:

Low faucet pressure

Severe corrosion and blockages can reduce water output.

Sudden water temperature changes

The degradation of hot water lines is typically faster, and debris usually gets trapped in anti-scalding devices first.

Discolored water

The water you use has a brown or red tint due to corroded metal flakes from the pipe.

Noise

Sounds such as screeches, clicks, moans, and thuds indicate abnormal pressure changes or improper operation of your pipes and fixtures.

You can’t use more than one fixture at a time

When the toilet flushes, the shower gets hot, and there are issues when using multiple fixtures at once.
